Vice-President of the European Parliament Othmar Karas - Georgia's future is in the European Union
"I know how important the European perspective is for many people in Georgia, the future of Georgia is in the European Union", said Vice–President of the European Parliament Othmar Karas in Madrid, where a meeting was held in the format of the chairmen of the committees on foreign Affairs of the parliaments of the European Union.
"The European Parliament has loudly noted that the future of Ukraine, the Western Balkans and Moldova is in the European Union, and I know how important the European perspective is for many people in Georgia. Georgia's future is in the European Union. This is our point of view and common vision. Now we have to move forward step by step in the European Union and in the countries mentioned above", said Othmar Karas.
