The tragedy of the missing Yazidi women is terrible and continues. There are so many survivors of the horrific events of Yazidi genocide and it is heartbreaking to hear that they are still being treated as culprits. Refusing to report them missing or even talk about them is a form of victim blaming and silencing that needs to be combated.

Yazidi girl Huda is just one of many, she was only 12 years old when ISIS militants kidnapped her and sold her into sexual slavery. She is one of the lucky ones who managed to escape, but she still struggles with herself and her memories every day.

Yazidi women abducted by ISIS militants survived. They have demonstrated incredible strength and resilience in the face of unimaginable adversity. We must honor their strength and resilience by doing everything we can to help them. Yazidi community is small and vulnerable, and ISIS persecutes them because of their national and religious beliefs. The abduction of Yazidi women and girls is an attempt to destroy the community and its way of life.

The international community must do more to help these women. We have to put pressure on ISIS to release them, and we have to give them the support they need to rebuild their lives. We also need to challenge the stigmatization of these women and show them that they are not alone.

It is important to remember the stories of missing Yazidi women and girls. They are not forgotten, and we must continue to fight for their freedom and justice. We must continue to fight for their freedom and justice until they are all reunited with their families.
