United Kingdom member of Parliament Emma Harriet Nicholson visited Hank camp and thanked the volunteers, she also met with Yazidi refugees (displaced persons) in the camp.

There are between 50 and 60 thousand displaced Yazidis living in the Khanka camp, all of these people were attacked by ISIS shaytans, I think they are called DAESH.” Said Baroness Nicholson.

She drew attention to the fact that health is the most important thing when we are in real trouble.”

"Then we came here with the Doha Department of health. We don't do these things on our own, they have to be part of the system, they have to be the standards of the world health organization. We have worked very closely with the Dohuk health authority to support internally displaced persons in the camps, I would like to say that this health centre is ideally suited and doing its job.”

The Baroness said: "of Course, this is a small part than we can do, I was told that you need a maternity ward here to help mothers give birth, we go back to find funding to get a maternity ward, people are in different stages of recovery here, children need extra health, every person and every patient matters, every patient needs care and they need to get better, that's the goal of the health center.

Emma Harriet Nicholson, Baroness Nicholson of Winterborn (b.16 October 1941) is a British politician who has been a Peer since 1997. She was elected a conservative MP for Torridge and West Devon in 1987 before moving to liberal Democrats in 1995.
