Amazing tolerance and tolerance of Yazidis to representatives of other nationalities and religions, their ability to get along with them is noted by many researchers.

By the will of circumstances (usually economic) after the collapse of the USSR, many Yezidis from the South Caucasus moved to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. In Russia, they settled in many regions, including those where not everything is smooth with interethnic relations. But nowhere Yazidis with anyone in the conflict did not enter. Yazidis are characterized by sincere respect for the culture, traditions, religion of the indigenous population of the country where they settled, but at the same time careful preservation of their identity, their culture and traditions. It is no accident in the same Russia, even the local authorities in the regions (Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Tula, Orel, Nizhny Novgorod regions and other regions) who need to show the interethnic world always give an example of Yazidis. The Yazidi community, on the one hand, has been closely integrated into Russian society, and its members are law-abiding citizens, and on the other hand, it preserves its culture and is not assimilated.

In Georgia, in Tbilisi, Yazidis historically lived in a multi-ethnic environment and did not have any contradictions with representatives of any nationality. The softness and good nature of Tbilisi Yezidis are well known. Yazidis are perceived by many native residents of Tbilisi as an integral part of the city color, as part of the good old Tbilisi, which they cherish. Meanwhile, the share of the Yezidi people suffered tremendous hardships. Most recently, he survived the genocide. The victims of this genocide were many, not least because as peace-loving people Yazidis did not even think about the evil that terrorists are plotting against them. In the same Iraq before the terror by ISIS, Sunni Muslims and Muslim Shiites, Shabaks, Christians of various concessions, Armenians, Kurds, Turkmens, Arabs lived quietly next to the Yazidis. And all Yazidis were able to find a common language. It is also very interesting that historically many Christians, in particular Assyrians, sought to settle near the Yezidis. And it is not accidental. Being themselves persecuted Yazidis in difficult times always tried to support and protect other minorities, even despite the fact that this caused even greater rage persecutors. The recent persecution and genocide of Yazidis and other minorities by ISIS is no exception. Unfortunately, at the most critical moment the forces were not equal, tens of thousands of Yazidis died, hundreds of thousands became refugees. The genocide of national and ethnic minorities carried out by ISIS has changed a lot in the North of Iraq, including the ethnic and religious picture. ISIS specifically sought to incite the Sunni Arabs against the Yazidis. People of the "right" religion from the point of view of ISIL WERE consciously involved in anti-ISIS terror in order to "tie people with blood" to make it impossible for inter-confessional peace in the future. But the terrorists miscalculated. Even after suffering terrible losses, the Yezidis try not to remember evil and not to take revenge on their persecutors, among whom, alas, were their deceived and recruited or intimidated by ISIS neighbors. After the war with ISIS in Northern Iraq is mostly over, and the bandits are defeated, the Yazidis, even those who took up arms to confront the terrorists, did not "settle scores." The ability to forgive, forget the bad and remember the good is very characteristic of the Yezidi people. At the same time, the peace of the Yazidis does not mean "toothlessness" and total pacifism. Being a peaceful people, nevertheless Yezidis take up arms when it is necessary to defend justice. During the great Patriotic war Yazidis selflessly fought against Nazism. It is difficult to say whether there is another people in the world, on the one hand peaceful, not remembering evil and able to get along with everyone, and on the other ready to sacrifice for the sake of others, for the sake of peace and justice. The people who were persecuted were subjected to genocides, but did not become embittered and did not make "settling scores" part of the national ideology. People who can find a common language, both with Christians and Muslims, respect other religions, but at the same time keep the faith of the fathers sacred and carefully. We can say that the Yezidi people have a huge "peacekeeping potential". And it can be in demand at this difficult time, when, alas, some forces are sowing enmity between countries and peoples, which is absolutely not necessary for Yezidis who have a national character - to live with everyone in the world.
