Irakli Garibashvili met with Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen.

According to the government administration, the meeting discussed the close cooperation between the two countries, including in trade and economic aspects. It was discussed in which direction the connection could be further deepened.

It was noted that the proof of the excellent relations between Georgia and Hungary is the joint declaration on strategic partnership signed last year, which is an important base for multifaceted cooperation between Georgia and Hungary.

The Prime Minister thanked Zsolt Semjen for the firm support of Hungary in terms of granting Georgia the status of an EU candidate country.
