After 5 years of captivity, three Yazidi girls were released

The Yazidi women's liberation center has announced the release of three Yazidi women who have been held captive by Islamic state (is) terrorists for* 5 years.

According to the head of the Center for the liberation of Yazidi women, Hussein Kaida, the released girls are very young, the youngest is 16 years old , and the oldest is 18 years old. All three girls are residents of the village of Kocho (Shangal).

"They are now in a safe place and will be reunited with their families in the coming days," Kaida said in an interview with Kurdistan24.

During the genocide, 2014 in Shangal by the terrorists of ISIS, was stolen about 7 000 Yazidi women and children.  Women were used as sex slaves and subjected to sexual violence by terrorists, children were used as suicide bombers and babies were sold to foster families. It is estimated that more than 3,000 women and children are still missing.
