In the coalition agreement, the two ruling Green parties and the Christian Democratic Union in Baden-Württemberg in southwestern Germany decided to accept up to 200 Yazidi refugees, especially women and children who were victims of the ISIS genocide, as part of a special election program.

Government representatives state that this program should not replace the support of the Dohuk Partnership Framework Program. The Parliament of Baden-Württemberg allocated the appropriate funds in the budget for 23/24.

This admission program requires careful planning and approval by the federal Government at this stage.

It is worth noting that the government of the German state of Baden-Württemberg previously received up to 1,200 victims of the Yazidi genocide, and opened special psychological treatment programs for them, as well as provided them with all the means for a decent life within the special program for survivors of the genocide.
