Tbilisi International Film Festival starts on December 4
The traditional 23rd Tbilisi International Film Festival will open this year on December 4 — competitive screenings will take place during the week at the Amirani Cinema.
This year, 6 full—length and 10 short feature films by Georgian directors, as well as documentaries - 8 full-length and 7 short films - were submitted to the competition.
Statuettes of the Golden Prometheus will be awarded in the nominations "Best Feature Film", "Best Feature Documentary", "Best Short Feature Film", "Best Short Documentary".
The winners will be awarded on the last day of the festival on December 10. On the same day, a new film directed by Dito Tsintsadze "Roxy" will be presented here.
At the festival, it will be possible to see Soso Bliadze's "My Room" and David Pirtskhalava's "Big Change", which have already collected awards at film festivals in other countries.

The dates of the screenings will be clarified on December 1, simultaneously with the start of ticket sales.
Outside of the competition program, the best works of world cinema will be presented, the program is very rich — a lot of old films and no less novelties. This year at the film festival, special attention will be paid to Ukrainian cinematographers.
Georgian director Otar Ioseliani and Polish director, President of the European Film Academy Agnieszka Holland will receive honorary awards of the festival. During the festival, the audience will be able to see the works of both directors.
