The Yazidi non-governmental organizations for human rights and the deputy from the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mahma Khalil Ali Agha, called on the Iraqi government, the international community and international organizations to stop the ongoing genocide against the national religious minority of the Yazidis, noting that "Iraq is on the agenda, which is trying to cleanse the country of the Yazidi minority".

The appeal states: "ISIS terrorists and those loyal to them do not consider Yazidis as people and death has become an integral part of their lives, wherever they go. The Iraqi Government and the international community prefer not to see what is happening to the Yazidi minority.

After the genocide that the Yazidis suffered in 2014 at the hands of ISIS criminals, this genocide continues to this day and is practiced against the Yazidis", referring to the recent events of the cold-blooded murder and rape of the girl Ahin and her father at the hands of a farm owner in Zakho, as well as the murder of a Yazidi boy in Germany by a Somali extremist.

Ali Agha called for the harshest punishments, namely the death penalty, against the girl's killer.

He continued: "Ending the genocide against the Yazidis requires not only a decision by Iraq, but also a decision and broad international solidarity, whether on a political, humanitarian or material level, the blood of the Yazidis has become acceptable wherever he goes.

Despite the recognition by a number of parliaments of the world of the genocide committed against the Yazidis, it is a pity that the Iraqi Parliament did not vote for this recognition. Some Kurdish units controlling Sinjar are also involved in the genocide of the Yazidis, including murders, kidnappings and imprisonment, which requires the Iraqi government to find a solution to this issue.

This appeal and condemnation will be sent in official letters to the government of Iraq, the United Nations and its humanitarian organizations to find a viable solution to stop this genocide against the Yazidis".
