Dozens of Yezidi residents of the city of Tel Halaf, located 5 km west of the city of Sarekani, held a demonstration against the actions of armed groups that occupied Yezidi areas in Syria.

A video of a demonstration, in which citizens protest against the actions of the «Hamza and Malik Shah» groups, spread on social media. These groups made death threats, extortionists, stole money and other violations against Yazidi civilians.

Four civilians were injured during demonstrations, including a child, and two men were injured last week as a result of the dispersal of a rally between Syrian opposition groups and local residents.

Residents of the occupied city of Sarekani, in early July, held demonstrations against the chaos in the security sector, poor economic conditions and the spread of lawlessness among armed opposition groups, but these demonstrations did not bear fruit.

It should be noted that in the occupied city of Sarekani/Ras al-Ayn, there is chaos in the field of security in a relation to civilian population, Yezidi villages were left without supervision, bandit groups take part in the seizure and robbery of civilian property.

Speakers at rallies and demonstrations always ask the same question, for how long international human rights organizations will remain inactive in Syria. Where are the representatives of the UN organization? Where are the US representatives who promote freedom and democracy everywhere?
