The trade turnover between Georgia and Russia in January-June 2022 increased by 31.8% compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 962.2 million dollars,while exports from Georgia to Russia fell by 2.8%, according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia "GEOSTAT".

Russia ranks second among Georgia's foreign trade partners, the share of trade between the two countries is 11.4% of all foreign trade for six months of this year.

41.3 thousand tons of ferroalloys, 34.8 thousand tons of mineral and fresh water, almost 21.5 thousand tons of natural grape wine, 3.4 thousand tons of alcoholic beverages and so on were exported from Georgia to the Russian Federation in January-June 2022.
