Today, on June 20, the "Home to Europe" campaign will be held in Tbilisi and the regions. The action will begin at 20:00 in front of the Parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.
The action is carried out with the organization of "Shame" and civil movements.
According to the information distributed by the organizers on the social network, representatives of civil society, the authorities of Ukraine and the European Union will address the citizens gathered for the action
At 21:00, the participants of the action will march to Europe Square, where the final part of the event will take place.
A member of the "Shame" movement, Nodar Rukhadze, states that on June 20 at 20:00 all Georgian citizens are expected in front of the parliament. According to him, this action will be crucial to demonstrate unity once again to strategic partners.
Also, as he noted, the purpose of this meeting is "for the European partners to see that the citizens of Georgia have made a European choice and are ready to defend this choice."
"On this day, we forget all the differences, all the party lines that divide us, and unite around what unites us – a return to the Euro-Atlantic family, integration into the EU, a better future, freedom, peace, development, economic prosperity, and so on," Nodar Rukhadze said.
Recall that in addition to Tbilisi, today citizens' meetings for the same purpose will be held in other cities of Georgia - at 18:00 in Zugdidi, at 19:00 in Batumi and at 15:00 in Kutaisi.
In addition, similar meetings will be held in European cities – London, Prague, Hanover, Paris, Budapest, Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Reykjavik, Athens, and Brussels.
