Representatives of the United Nations and the UNITED organization visited the cemetery of the Yazidi victims of ISIS
The United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, Ms. Alice Vayrimu Nderitu, and Special Adviser Christian Reacher, Head of UNITAD group, visited the graves of the Yezidi martyrs in the village of Kocho (Iraq) and the school, which was transformed into a memorial museum for those who He died during the genocide of the Yazidi people committed by members of ISIS.
Special Adviser Reacher confirmed the readiness of the UNITAD team to continue working to bring ISIS criminals to justice for their international crimes. The Special Advisers also visited mass graves of ISIS victims in Solag and Cardan and met with Yazidi survivors and victims' families.
