The Yezidi community of Georgia congratulates all citizens of Georgia on Independence Day

The Cultural Center of the Caucasus Yezidis congratulates the citizens of Georgia on Independence Day and wishes everyone a peaceful sky over their heads at this difficult time. The Yezidi community of Georgia is closely woven into the roots of modern Georgian history, Yezidis, like any other citizens, are fighting for the independence of our beautiful country. Let Georgia and the Yezidi community continue to shine and progress together with it.

Independence Day is celebrated on May 26, it is the main public holiday in Georgia. By tradition, a solemn military parade and a festive concert are held on this day. The military parade takes place along the main street of Tbilisi — Rustaveli Avenue. Columns of soldiers, thousands of servicemen of all branches of the armed forces are walking down the street. They are followed by more than 100 units of weapons and military equipment. Planes perform aerobatics in the sky.
