In the XXI century, relations between national minorities and the titular nation remain a powerful source of conflicts between different peoples. Unfortunately, the Yezidi community is no exception. The "struggle", so to speak, manifests itself in the following way - it touches on such sensitive issues as historical primacy, cultural identity, and so on.

Demographic factors are often difficult to establish and are a controversial issue. Cultural identity, namely its preservation, is a significant problem for us Yezidis. The "popularity" of the majority culture is more attractive and interesting than your "minority" culture, to which there are many questions to which we get few answers, so the Yazidi youth is losing its roots.

As we know, youth is one of the main mechanisms for spreading and preserving the heritage of the present. If we treat our children through our sleeves, we will not instill in them an interest in the Yezidi traditions, religion, native language, then the result of this will be the assimilation and oblivion of our people.

We live in an era where other nations have preserved some of their conservative views and modernized their traditions to meet new realities, thereby giving their heritage a chance to exist.

In front of such small nations, which are the Yezidis, there is a problem - globalization. If we, the Yezidis, "successfully" turn a blind eye to modern realities and say that "the grass used to be greener", the fate of our youth will be in question. To reach consensus, it is sometimes worth making concessions and this does not imply "weakness", but rather it is about foresight.

We need to create a favorable environment for our youth, who have a spark of hope for the future. Give advice, show the best and worst sides of our community. Stop internal strife and impose your "truth". We need to learn to show our younger generation that we can also be united in the current realities.

Youth is a kind of book in which we write our history. The main thing for us is to reach out to young people and open this very book.

Also, in addition to the problem faced by the Yezidi youth, the Yezidi community has several other problems of development paths.

- Yezidis may take the path of marginalization, radicalization, which naturally leads to a more aggressive path of development for communities. This path will lead to the oblivion of our Yezidi community.

- A nihilistic way of development, when the community turns a blind eye to many problems and tries to be quieter than water. This path will lead to assimilation, and the centuries-old Yezidi identity will sink into oblivion.
