Holding a full-scale political amnesty, which will extend over the period from 2003 to 2021, and after the change of power will give the Georgian Dream a guarantee that they will not become victims of political persecution – such an initiative was announced by the head of the authoritative non–governmental organization Transparency International - Georgia, Eka Gigauri, at a meeting with the country's president Salome Zurabishvili.

Gigauri told reporters that this proposal is being discussed in detail with the president. In her opinion, it is the political amnesty that will allow the country to get out of a severe crisis.

Salome Zurabishvili also discussed ways out of the political crisis with former Georgian Dream MP Mariam Jashi.

A former representative of the ruling party said that in her opinion, ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili needs adequate treatment and should be transferred abroad for this.

In the format of national reconciliation, initiated by the President, Salome Zurabishvili meets daily with representatives of the political spectrum of Georgia.
