In the country from today, to get into restaurants, cafes, bars, gyms, spas, museums, theaters, and cinemas, you need to have a "green status".
Georgian business facilities will now be fined for customer service without a "green status", head of the Labor Inspection Service Beka Peradze said.
If a person without a "green status" is allowed on the territory of an object that belongs to the "green zone", all responsibility will be assigned to the administration of the institution.
In case of violation, the object will be fined 10 thousand lari (about 3.2 thousand dollars) in the case of a legal entity and 2 thousand lari (about 600 dollars) - in the case of an individual entrepreneur. After repeated violation, the object will be sealed.
"Starting tomorrow, the labor Inspectorate will begin to actively check whether the covid application has been introduced in the relevant institutions. The first days will be advisory in nature. This means that we will help both business entities and citizens to download and receive services," Peradze said at a briefing on Monday.
From December 1, Сovid-passports will be introduced throughout Georgia. Now, to get into restaurants, cafes, bars, gyms, spas, museums, theaters and cinemas, citizens must have a "green status", that is, a QR code. This document confirms that a person has either been vaccinated twice, or has had a coronavirus, or has received a negative result of a PCR test done within 72 hours. You can also present the result of a quick antigen test, valid for 24 hours.
