An election conference was held in the House of Yezidis in Oldenburg, Germany
The House of Yezidis in Oldenburg, in the presence of a large group of its delegates, held an election conference to select a new administrative body for the House of Yezidis.
The work of the conference began after a minute's silence in memory of the souls of the Yezidi martyrs. Then, first, financial reports were presented, as well as a list of events held by the House of Yezidis over the last period, and the rules of the internal system of the House of Yezidis in Oldenburg were discussed. Those present dissolved the administrative body of the Yezidi House in Oldenburg, after which a supervisory committee was selected to monitor the electoral process. The committee consists of Mr. Amin Tolan, Saleh Farman, and Halima Ibrahim.
Board candidates:
Elias Yan, Salih Abdo Rakafai, Kovan Sheikh Alo, Omar Rashid, Golestan Ibrahim, Jalal Eido, Tekin Karavol, Helijan Tolan, Badria Celik, Bahia Tolan, Ardal Karaja, Des Fizi, Helijan Tolan, Bahram el Sheikh. After the process of proposing and counting votes by the committee overseeing the elections, the following gentlemen received membership in the administrative body of the House of Yezidis in Oldenburg:
Elias Yan, Salih Abdo Rakafai, Omar Rashid, Kovan Sheikh Alo, Jalal Eido Shangali, Kolestan Ibrahim Shangali, Helijan Tolan, Badria Celik, Ardal Karaja.
At the meeting, the positions were distributed among the members of the administrative body as follows:
- Elias Jan - Head of the Yezidi House in Oldenburg
- Golestan Ibrahim Shangali - Vice President
- Saleh Abdo Rakafai - Head of the Committee on Culture and Social Affairs
- Omer Rashid - Information Officer and Secretary
- Kovan Sheikh Alo - Head of the Religious Committee
- Ardal Karaja - Employee of the Finance Committee
- Badria Celik - responsible for the affairs of women and girls
- Helizhan Tolan - Head of the Youth Committee
- Jalal Eido - Social Relations Officer
For its part, the new administrative body of the House of Yezidis expressed gratitude to Mr. Shehab Dag, the former head of the House of Yezidis in Oldenburg, who has been heading it for more than twenty years.
