Six Yazidi centers in Lower Saxony (Niederzaxen) have announced their withdrawal from the Advisory Council of Yazidis in Germany (Central Rat).

The decision to withdraw was made after the six administrative bodies of these Yazidi centers published a statement brought to the attention of the public. The following is the text of the statement:

Statement of withdrawal from the Yezidi Advisory Council in Germany in accordance with article 3, paragraph 8b of the Law on the Advisory Council.

06/21/2021 We, the Yezidi organizations that signed this statement, have decided to withdraw from the Yezidi Advisory Council of Germany, and we would like to inform public opinion about this.

"A few months later, we insisted on the decision to publish this statement, although they tried to cross us. Starting today, we have nothing to do with any decision or activity belonging to the council.

We wish success to the leadership of the Council and its associated centers in their further work."
