"Girchi" will not support candidates of other parties in the second round of elections, the opposition parliamentary party

"Girchi" will not support any of the candidates in the second round of municipal elections. This was stated by one of the leaders of the party, Yago Khvichia.
According to the CEC, “Girchi” gained 0.95% in the elections, receiving 16,695 votes.
“Girchi” will not support anyone. Our voters will decide for themselves who to vote for. We do not control the second choice of our voters and are not very interested in this, because their second choice is very different," Khvichia said.
Elections to local self-government bodies in Georgia were held on October 2. The ruling Georgian Dream and its main competitor, the country's largest opposition party, the United National Movement, are preparing for the second round of elections.
The second round of elections will be held on October 30. According to preliminary data of the CEC, mayors will be chosen by residents of 20 out of 64 municipalities where none of the candidates has overcome the 50% barrier. The ruling “Georgian Dream” and the country's largest opposition party, the “United National Movement”, are preparing for the second round.
