Georgian gastronomy is presented at the prestigious international exhibition of restaurant business and public catering Sirha 2021, which takes place in Lyon (France) from September 23-27. This is reported by the National Tourism Administration of Georgia.

The final part of Sirha 2021 will be the final of the world culinary art competition Bocuse d'Or. This year, 87 contestants from 21 countries will take part in the final part of the prestigious competition.

At Sirha 2021, Georgia is presented with a stand inspired by the concept of ketsi – a traditional Georgian frying pan made of red clay.

According to the tourism administration, Georgia's participation in the international gastronomic exhibition contributes to the popularization of the country's gastronomic culture, raising awareness about gastronomic tourism, agrotourism and ecotourism. Thousands of guests of the event will have the opportunity to get acquainted with Georgian products.

In 2019, Georgia officially became a member of the Bocus d'or. At the same time, the foundation of the Georgia project was laid: The Art of Feast (Georgia: the art of the holiday), with which our country performed at the Sirha 2019 exhibition. The author of the project is the Georgian agency "Gastronaut" (Gastronaut).

The Sirha exhibition is held every two years and is considered the leading professional event in the hospitality and food industry. The business card of Sirha is competitions of chefs and restaurateurs.
