The US Agency for International Development (USAID) will allocate $ 5.4 million to Georgia to fight the coronavirus pandemic, the organization's Facebook page reports.

"In cooperation with Zinc Network, we will develop social advertising that will dispel myths about vaccination among the population and tell about the benefits of the vaccine, as well as provide the public with fact – based information about vaccination," the information says.

According to the organization, it will soon become known about additional programs and reliable international partners that will facilitate access to safe and effective vaccines for the population of the country.

The programs will be aimed at residents of isolated and hard-to-reach areas, which will help the population of Georgia to detect and prevent the growth of COVID-19 cases in a timely manner.
