With the financial support of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the Nadia Initiative (NI) is restoring public health and primary care centers in Al-Adnaniya, Tel Azir and Hanasor. Medical institutions will be equipped with the necessary medical equipment, consumables, and furniture.

The war in Sinjar led to the destruction of the local health care system. The destruction of medical centers and the lack of medical specialists leaves Yazidi residents with few opportunities to access healthcare during the COVID - 19 pandemic. That is why NI is restoring the Primary Health Care Center (ambulance) in the villages where the Yazidi population lives, to restore access to inexpensive and high-quality medical care.

This project is funded by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
