"Our relations are fraternal relations, coexistence and peace. The Yazidis in Armenia are among our ancient peoples, and they are highly valued and respected. Our visit to Lalesh Temple today is not so much an official visit as a pilgrimage for us. We have opened a consulate and a cultural center in Erbil, which will open the doors for cooperation between the two countries, which will be the first bridge for the Yazidis of Armenia, so that they can come to Iraq and visit the temple without any difficulties.
