Distribution of proceeds from the sale of two books to the Yazidi children of the Vasho Kani camp

Rojava Kurdistan Literary Committee held a signing ceremony for two books, poet Anahita Sino and writer Nariman Abdaki, in the reading garden in Qamishlo, in the presence of a number of poets, writers and cultural representatives of the Al Jazeera region.

Writer Nariman Abdaki told ezdina that her book titled "Berberozh" includes a collection of stories about the Yazidi resistance of Sri Kani / Ras al-Ain.

The proceeds from the sale of the books will be given to Yazidi children from the Vasho Kani camp to please children affected by war and forced displacement.

For her part, Botan Hosho, a member of the literature committee at Rojava Kurdistan, said that they had organized a ceremony to celebrate the book's release.

Botan Hosho also noted that board games for children from the Vasho Kani camp will be purchased with the proceeds from the sale of two books to provide them with psychological support.

It is worth noting that on November 20, 2019, the autonomous administration opened the camp "Vasho Kani" and it is home to more than 12,000 Yazidis displaced from among the residents of Sarekan.
