The C4JR Coalition for Fair Compensation posted on its website that "The C4JR Coalition has submitted to the Iraqi Parliament a bill on compensation for survivors of sexual violence related to the 2014 ethnic cleansing of members of the Yazidi minority."

The main objective of the delegation was to "support and promote a comprehensive and targeted compensation plan for victims in accordance with international human rights standards and best practices".

To this end, representatives of the C4JR coalition presented the bill and its accompanying policy document to the Iraqi Parliamentarian (Saeb Khader Nayef) in the Iraqi Parliament in Baghdad.

Adding that " Mr. Khadr, who is an outspoken advocate of restorative justice, and representatives of the C4JR coalition agreed that the upcoming period is critical to developing a comprehensive and viable compensation plan. In addition, it was agreed that Iraqi civil society and State authorities would step up their cooperation to harmonize and bring future legislation in line with the urgent needs of Yazidi survivors.

It is worth noting that the Coalition for Just Compensation is a coalition of Iraqi civil society organizations that represents Iraq's linguistic, ethnic and religious diversity and supports claims for compensation to survivors and other victims of crime. C4JR relies on international human rights and national law to promote the right to reparations for all civilian victims of the ISIL armed conflict in Iraq.

His main beliefs:

1. Full compliance with international law - " human rights”.

2. Belief in the inherent dignity of humanity.

3. Commitment to gender equality.

4. Every victim of gross human rights violations has the right to compensation.

5. A strong civil society is essential for the success of transitional justice processes.

6. Peaceful coexistence and mutual respect are the two pillars that should govern relations between societies and groups.

7. Addressing the harm caused to victims of gross human rights violations should be a top priority not only for the States where the violation occurred, but also for the international community and people around the world.

8. Any programmes aimed at correcting gross violations of human rights should be reported, discussed and approved by the victims themselves in a timely manner.
