Masks, distance, separate dishes-what Georgian epidemiologists advise residents of the country on holidays. The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia (NCDC) has published recommendations for residents of Georgia – they relate to the safe conduct of festive gatherings.

The Center notes that due to the spread of COVID-19, it is not recommended to go to visit and organize festive meetings. Meanwhile, those who still plan to visit friends and relatives, or are going to receive them at home, are given some tips.

During dinner, experts advise not to use common dishes. If other guests are present at the festive feast in addition to family members, you must wear a protective mask. Remove the mask should only be during meals, while, during a festive dinner, it is recommended to observe a minimum of a meter distance.

Important tips also include washing your hands before and after meals and following respiratory etiquette.

In Georgia, 2,316 new cases of infection were detected over the past day. The first case of coronavirus was detected in Georgia on February 26. To date, the total number of infected people reaches 232,079.
