Employee of the Cultural Center of the Caucasus Yazidis and journalist Yazidis.info took part in the online media training "the Future of media: content and technologies" for journalists in the South Caucasus.

"On November 26-27, 2020, the ZOOM communication platform hosted an online media training for journalists from the South Caucasus countries "the Future of media: content and technologies", organized by the North-South political Science center (PCSU) with the support of the presidential grants Fund.

Students of journalism faculties, young journalists and editors, media experts from Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia took part in the event aimed at developing professional competencies of young representatives of the media sphere.

As noted, welcoming participants of the event, Executive Director of PCSW Angelica Trapeznikova, online mediatraining for journalists in the South Caucasus "the Future of media: content and technologies" in its essence, purposes and tasks is the continuation of traditional regional media training sessions that were formerly centered in the offline format and proven to be an effective resource for enhancing professional competences of young journalists, editors and bloggers.

The agenda of the most practice-oriented educational program of media training includes issues that not only reflect current trends in the field of journalism and public communications, but can also be successfully applied in the implementation of the professional mission of the media communities of Russia and the South Caucasus States, including for the implementation of joint media projects.

On the second day of the media training, the final event took place: the Mobile news Agency business game was hosted by Yulia ZAGITOVA, Secretary of the Union of journalists of Russia. Based on the results of the game, the expert jury determined the winners, which were:

The participant from Azerbaijan's Ramila Yusifova;

Vitaly Grigoryan and Elen Mikaelyan from Armenia;

Team from Georgia: Babaev David, Bitsadze Nikoloz and Skvortsova Nino.

Project participants will receive certificates of completion of the media training course, and the winners of the second day of the game will receive prizes».
