Government of Georgia: full lockdown is not planned at this stage

During a meeting of government members with representatives of the restaurant business it was noted that the growing dynamics of virus spread in the industry there are problems with compliance with the rules.
As for restricting the operation of shopping centers, the possibility of reducing working hours and working days is being discussed.
At the meeting, it was noted that to prevent further spread of the virus, it is important to reduce the mobility of citizens, so the government plans to expand point restrictions.
New restrictions and tightening are planned, but the main thing is that there will not be a full lockdown. Lockdown — General quarantine, which provides for the termination of all economic facilities, except for strategic ones, and the suspension of passenger traffic.
