The Georgian government is urgently purchasing medical oxygen generators worth 3.2 million lari (about $ 1 million). The tender will be conducted in a simplified manner. This became known from the decree of the government of Georgia.

"Along with the rapid increase in the number of cases of infection, the number of beds mobilized to fight COVID-19 is increasing. More than 6 thousand beds have already been mobilized, and it is planned to add another 2,400 beds by the end of the month. It should be noted that medical oxygen is actively used in the treatment of patients with coronavirus, " the documentation published on the state procurement website says.
