On November 9, the NGO transparency international – Georgia (TIG), the international society for fair elections and democracy (ISFED) and the Association of young lawyers (GYLA) issued a joint statement calling on political parties to "start negotiations, including through the mediation of the international community, to lead countries out of the crisis".

According to the NGO, despite the fact that the October 31, 2020 parliamentary elections were "a step back" and "the worst elections" held under the Georgian dream government, "there is still a chance to find a way out of the impasse through political dialogue."

Human rights activists believe that for the stability of Georgia, it is important that politicians at the negotiating table decide on the recount of problematic polling stations according to specific criteria and conduct fair second rounds. "It is important that all parties make every effort so that the country can avoid a severe political crisis," they added.

Non-governmental organizations emphasize that the use of water cannons against demonstrators who gathered in front of the CEC building on November 8 "does not stand up to any criticism", which "further aggravated the situation".
