After the district election commissions finish the process of reviewing electoral complaints, the NGO Association of young lawyers of Georgia (GYLA) will appeal to the court the results of only 38 of the 109 polling stations against which complaints were filed.

GYLA explains that due to the limited time and resources required to file a lawsuit in court, the organization gave priority to those districts in which more complaints were filed in total.

"GYLA does not continue to challenge the districts where the final majority protocols were appealed, and, according to preliminary data, the cancellation of the appealed protocols cannot affect the results of the majority elections," the organization added.

According to GYLA, of the 109 complaints filed to the district election Commission – were revealed and counted the sealed documentation 19 sites, updated information 23 summary protocols; requirements 2 sites were withdrawn by the organization; requirements in respect of the 9 plots were left pending due to the filing of the complaint in electronic form in connection with 79 polling stations complaints GYLA was not satisfied and/or are left unaddressed.

Assessment GYLA, the whole process complaints in district election commissions were mostly of a formal character, and the "decision to reject the complaint was made inconsistent and unreasonable".

GYLA believes that the CEC "did not realize the seriousness of the political crisis in the country and not used the opportunities which could remove questions about the reliability of the data included in the final protocols." The organization called on the Election administration to "review the decisions already made on its own initiative and recalculate the data of all suspicious polling stations again."
