On behalf of the Yazidi Diaspora living in Georgia, the Cultural Center of Caucasus Yezidis expresses its deep concern about the aggravation of the situation on the contact Line in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

The Yazidi people are one of the most peaceful peoples in the world. The Yezidi religion forbids war and the murder of a man. Yazidis have experienced the hardships of war and genocide. The participation of Yazidis in the war is not welcomed by our religion. There is no military solution to this conflict. We call for an immediate end to the fighting and a seat at the negotiating table.
