Additional security measures will be introduced in kindergartens in Tbilisi
Pupils of kindergartens in Tbilisi will be given individual bags with teaching materials – pencils, scissors, paints and other items intended for personal use only. This was reported to Public television by the head of the Tbilisi Agency for kindergarten management Kakha Gvantseladze.
According to him, this measure will be taken in order to limit the number of common items in the garden as much as possible.
It is also strictly forbidden to bring things taken from home to the garden. Toys that children play with in kindergarten will be disinfected several times a day.
Gvantseladze confirmed that in order to strengthen security measures, parents will not be allowed into the kindergarten building — the child will be met at the entrance of the building by the kindergarten staff, who will identify him in the group. All persons working in the garden will be equipped with personal protective equipment during the working day.
Parents will only pick up their children during the designated time period.
Within the group, children will be divided into subgroups that will have minimal contact with each other. According to the same principle, children will be seated during feeding.
Large-scale events, holidays and festivals are prohibited in kindergartens. It is also forbidden to mix different groups of children during educational events or meals.
According to Gvantseladze, dishes in kitchens will be washed in a three-chamber sink. The water temperature should be at least 65 degrees Celsius. Also, in kindergartens, the rules for washing clothes will be tightened.
According to Gvantseladze, the implementation of all recommendations will cost the Agency more than 5 million lari.
The beginning of the educational process in kindergartens is scheduled for October 1.
