Which organizations will monitor the elections?

As of September 17, 42 local organizations and 5 international organizations have registered with the CEC to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2020, and 9 mass media outlets have been accredited to cover the elections.

As of September 17, 5 international organizations were registered to observe the parliamentary elections – the Embassy of the United States of America in Georgia, the International society for human rights (ISHR), the international Republican Institute (IRI), the international electoral system Foundation (IFES), and the National democratic Institute of international Affairs (NDI).

From local organizations, the following organizations were registered to observe the parliamentary elections – "Lawyers and lawyers of the international Observatory", "Association of young lawyers of Georgia", "Fair elections", "Club of reformers", "Young Generation", " Union of civil movement – Multinational Georgia", " Center for development and democracy", "Civic platform 20/20", "Democratic elections", "Center for regional development and promotion", "international transparency-Georgia", "Georgian trade Union of professional education workers and qualified personnel and students", "Young generation", "Green earth", "Media for freedom" and other 26 organizations.

The following media outlets have registered to cover the elections: Adjara public television and radio, Public broadcaster, Pirveli TV and silk Media, Union of European broadcasters (EBU) – Moscow Bureau, TV 25, Russian news Agency TASS, radio Free Europe and Formula.

Parliamentary elections in Georgia in 2020 will be held on October 31.
