The population of Georgia uses the Internet more and more every year, both on computers and on mobile devices.

Most often, residents of Georgia aged 15 and older use the Internet to log in to social networks, according to materials on the website of the national statistics service of the country "Sakstat".

According to the study, 74% of the population aged six years and older have used the Internet in the past three months, which is 3.4% more than in the same period last year.

Of the population aged 15 and over who used the Internet in the last three months, 89.2% used the Internet daily or almost daily, 9.4% used it at least once a week (although not every day), and 1.4% used it even less frequently.

Sakstat also counted those who access the Internet from computers and mobile phones.

The study showed that 86.5% of Georgia residents aged six and older have mobile phones, which is 1.7% more than the same data for the previous year.

In addition, 60.7% of the population aged six years and older used computers.

80.6% of the population over the age of 15 used computers every day, 12.8% at least once a week, and 6.6% even less often.
