Yazidis from generation to generation tried to preserve their traditions and way of life. But as history shows us, the Yazidi people were divided because of persecution and genocides. They were looking for, a new home and at the beginning of the XX century they found refuge in Russia (USSR), Georgia and Armenia. Since the Yazidis were rural residents, they settled mainly in abandoned and deserted villages, although in Georgia they found refuge in cities — first in Tbilisi, and then in Telavi and Rustavi. In 1919, the Yazidis community in Tbilisi created the world's first organization, the national Yazidis Union. In 1925, the so-called "Yazidi clubs" were opened in Batumi and Tbilisi, where cultural evenings were held, as well as the folklore of Yazidis was demonstrated. Yazidis slowly adapted to life in Georgia. Subsequently, some Georgian radio stations also broadcast in Yazidi (Kurdish) language. In universities appeared student groups ща arts, radio programs, music and dance of “govand”. The Yazidi people showed that they can not only engage in agricultural and rural activities, but also create music, art, write, and achieve success in the exact Sciences, social Sciences, etc... Wherever they are they will show their best side. I would like to mention three important countries of residence and development of Yazidis - Russia, Georgia and Armenia. In these countries, they occupy jobs in all branches of society from municipal workers to politicians, poets, singers, actors, TV hosts, youth activists, etc. Communities of Yazidis are practical in every region, city, in the countries of residence. The aim of the communities is to preserve culture, ancient traditions, religion, as well as to pass the history to the younger generation, so that they do not forget about their roots. Sometimes it is difficult to achieve the goals set for the communities, because unfortunately there is a huge process of assimilation. The most important feature of Yazidis is that they can adapt, sometimes not in mental conditions for life and at the same time honor traditions and their unique religion.
