Ukraine has implemented new rules for its own citizens and foreigners entering its territory. Georgia was included in the list of countries in the so-called "red zone". This is reported by "European truth".

More specifically, since August 1, a new classification of countries in the "green" and "red" zones began to operate in Ukraine, which determines the need for self-isolation or passing a test after returning from abroad, and new rules for return have also come into force.

From now on, Ukraine includes in the" red list " States where the number of new cases per 100,000 population over the past 14 days exceeds the same figure in Ukraine. Or if the increase in the number of infected people in them over the past 14 days exceeds the same for the past 14 days by 30%. Previously, Ukraine considered the number of active patients with coronavirus per 100,000 population.

Considering the new distribution, the Ministry of health published an updated list of States in the "green" and " red " zones. Data is shown as of July 31.

The countries of the" green " zone included Ukraine, as well as such States as Sweden, Portugal, Croatia, Belarus, Great Britain, Turkey, Slovenia, Egypt and Italy.

The " red zone" includes China, Georgia, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro, Poland, France, and Russia.

According to UNIAN, the chief sanitary doctor, Deputy Minister of health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said at a press conference that under the new rules, people who come from the country of the "green zone", without self-isolation and without tests, pass to the territory of Ukraine.

All those who arrived in Ukraine from the "red zone" must either go to isolation for 14 days, or pass a PCR test within a day, or come to the territory of Ukraine with ready-made test results, made no later than 48 hours before crossing the border.

Foreigners must have a health insurance policy when entering the country. This policy requirement does not apply to foreigners, stateless persons permanently residing on the territory of Ukraine, persons recognized as refugees, or citizens in need of additional protection. This also does not apply to employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices of foreign States, representatives of official international missions, organizations accredited in Ukraine, and their family members, and members of the armed forces of NATO member States.

The Ministry of health of Ukraine will update the list of countries with a significant level of COVID-19 distribution every 7 days.
