The petition makes three main demands-to abolish the "discriminatory" quarantine for Georgian citizens, expand the list of" safe " countries, and give permission for regular flights to budget airlines.

The initiative group published a petition on the website change.org with requirements concerning the right of Georgian citizens to visit other countries.

The petition makes three main demands. The first is to abolish the "discriminatory" quarantine for Georgian citizens returning from the so-called "safe" countries for which the country has opened its borders. These are Germany, France and the three Baltic countries – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The fact is that visitors from these countries do not need to undergo two-week isolation after crossing the border, unlike citizens of Georgia, for whom a 14-day quarantine is mandatory.

The second requirement is to expand the list of "safe" countries. In particular, there is a good epidemiological situation in Austria, Greece and Poland.

The third requirement is to allow budget airlines Wizzair and Ryanair to resume regular flights.

From August, regular flights will resume, which will be operated by Air France, AirBaltic and Lufthansa. At the same time, low-cost airlines still do not have a work permit.
