Recently, the Iraqi Minister of migration and displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, announced her readiness to cooperate with the UN Nobel prize winner Nadia Murad, as an independent figure known for her support for the Yazidi people, who were subjected to violence by ISIL terrorists.

The Minister discussed in a telephone conversation with Yazidi activists " ways to return Yazidis to their places of origin and long-term solutions to their problems, especially with regard to the reconstruction of liberated areas and destroyed homes, as well as the restoration of infrastructure and livelihood."

Faiq stressed the need to ensure the dignified return of displaced Yazidis to their areas by restoring basic services in the Shangal, Sinjar, surrounding areas and villages, noting that she personally looked forward to continued cooperation for the return of all Iraqis. Simultaneously requiring the justice Minister to investigate and review and bring to trial a criminal offense in the Sinjar area to punish all individuals involved in ISIL criminal groups.

For its part, the statement notes the support of Yazidi activists, Nadia Murad, for the importance of activating the project of peaceful coexistence between the components of the Iraqi people. It is explained that " Many great civilizations were destroyed by wars and rivalries that fueled selfishness, individual desires, and intellectual, religious, and racial extremism.
