The Ministry of health of Georgia has identified measures to be taken on beaches in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The directives include requirements for beach administrations, as well as landlords of umbrellas, sun loungers, scooters or water bikes. There are also some recommendations for vacationers-they are advised to wash and treat their hands with antiseptic more often, cover their mouth and nose when sneezing, and keep a social distance.

Main recommendation:

• Information about COVID-19 prevention measures should be placed in a visible place;

* It is advisable to mark paths for pedestrians on the coastline. Also, if possible, it is worth dividing the beaches into zones;

* Periodic cleaning of the coastline from garbage should be carried out using single-use bags, so that the waste ends up in landfills in a Packed form. Cleaning personnel must wear protective gloves, masks, or shields;

• All beachgoers must keep a safe distance (except for teenagers under 12 years of age);

• After using scooters, boats, bicycles, inflatables, sun beds and umbrellas, they must be disinfected;

* At the entrances to closed rooms on the shoreline must be placed de-barriers, as well as special stickers indicating a safe distance.

A number of requirements are defined for showers and bathrooms on the beaches:

• To reduce the risk of transmission, showers and toilets should be disinfected every two hours;

* Disinfection must be carried out using products registered by the National center for disease control and public health;

* Disinfection products must be stored in special closed cabinets;

• All cleaners must be properly equipped-wear protective masks, thick gloves and gowns, as well as glasses or shields.
