The government of Georgia has published recommendations for those who are going to rent out apartments.
The owners of the premises must comply with the protection measures against COVID-19 during the reception of guests.
The rules were prepared by the Ministry of health and the National tourism administration in accordance with international standards:
— The apartment must contain information about preventive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19;
— it is necessary to ensure that there is a closed container for hygienic waste, where a single-use bag will be placed;
— after the guest's departure, the apartment must be disinfected, including 4-hour ventilation and airing;
— masks and gloves are required during cleaning;
— before and after cleaning, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds (with soap) or use a 70% alcohol-based disinfectant;
- disinfect the surfaces that are most frequently touched;
— it is necessary to clean upholstered furniture and floors with special cleaning agents, and instead of dry cleaning, it is better to resort to wet;
— you need to collect the Laundry used by guests in a special bag;
- linen and towels must be washed at a temperature of at least 60 degrees;
- it is desirable to develop a remote entry system/departure of guests.
