Residents of the village are mainly engaged in animal husbandry and growing seasonal vegetables in a greenhouse. Kadri Haseena noted that despite the fact that Yazidis are in the minority in the village, but they don't feel like a minority. Kadri Haseena: "both Nations living in the village do not give a reason to dispute with each other. Yazidis can carry out all their activities as they should, and no one interferes with them in this."

Yazidi children study in an Armenian school, in the Armenian language. Kadri Haseena noted with regret the fact that children in school are not taught by native English language, but it does not prevent anyone to speak in their native language.
