Over the past 24 hours, 125 violations of the state of emergency have been detected in Georgia
Over the past 24 hours, 96 citizens have been fined for violating the restriction on Assembly of more than 10 people in public space , Deputy interior Minister Vladimir bortsvadze said at a briefing held at the Ministry of internal Affairs of Georgia.
According to him, in General, 125 facts of violation of the state of emergency were revealed during the knocks in the country.
"As a result of the monitoring carried out by the Ministry of internal Affairs over the past 24 hours, 125 violations of the state of emergency were detected in all regions of the country. 96 citizens were fined for violating the restriction on meeting more than 10 people in public space. 3 legal entities and 8 individuals were fined for violating restrictions related to economic activity. Upon intercity transportation of citizens on minibuses, 5 persons were fined, and 13 citizens were fined for violating the rules of isolation and quarantine.
The Ministry of internal Affairs urges citizens to comply with the restrictions established under the state of emergency, otherwise the measures envisaged by law will be applied. We would like to remind you once again that violation of the state of emergency leads to administrative liability – fines of 3,000 lari for individuals and 15,000 lari for legal entities. Repeated violation of the state of emergency is a criminal offense involving imprisonment for up to 3 years, " bortsvadze said.
