At the same time, the government of Georgia appeals to pensioners to take care of their health and avoid queues at the Bank as much as possible in order to take out money, since today you can actually pay with a plastic card for all services. If they want to receive the amount as cash, they must maintain a social distance while standing in line.
A few days ago, liberty Bank, on its own initiative and with its own resources, allocated 100 million lari so that pensioners over 70 years of age could receive their April pension in advance. The goal of this initiative was to protect high-risk people over the age of 70 from the increased dangers of the virus, in particular by reducing their need to apply to a Bank and maximizing the flow of citizens when receiving a pension.
