Disinfection in Shangala

Coronavirus disease is spreading around the world. For security reasons, disinfection works are carried out on the territory of Shangal ( the place of residence of the Yazidi community).

A ban on public places , such as cafes ,restaurants, baths , gyms, beauty salons,and so on, has been introduced . The government decided to close all schools, kindergartens, and shops, except for grocery stores and pharmacies. Gas stations and banks are also available. The population is asked to stay at home and not go out unless necessary.

Both the army and the police take part in quarantine measures .
